ORSAY

A 80m² apartment in the 7th arrondissement in Paris in an art deco building along Quai d'Orsay. 
The decoration of this apartment had not been changed for more than 30 years and all the original art deco elements were no longer visible. The idea was therefore to undertake the much needed renovation while reintroducing subtle art deco details.
Originally, this apartment consisted of a single bedroom with its en-suite bathroom, a large kitchen and a living room, however the clients requested a second bedroom and shower. 
To achieve this, the kitchen has been transformed into a second bedroom with its en-suite shower which also serves as a second living room and access from the service entrance. An open kitchen has been fitted out at the back of the living room, creating two seperate yet harmonious space.
