ORSAY
Nestled in a distinguished Art Deco building along the iconic Quai d'Orsay, this 80m² apartment had remained untouched for over three decades, concealing much of its original architectural charm. The renovation set out to revive the apartment’s inherent Art Deco elegance while creating a contemporary, functional layout tailored to the clients’ needs.
The original layout comprised a single bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a generous kitchen, and a spacious living room. The clients envisioned a second bedroom with a shower, prompting a thoughtful reconfiguration of the space. The former kitchen was transformed into a versatile second bedroom with an en-suite shower, doubling as a secondary living area with access via the service entrance. An open-plan kitchen was introduced at the rear of the main living room, seamlessly integrating two distinct spaces that coexist in harmony—balancing practicality, comfort, and design sophistication.
Throughout the renovation, subtle Art Deco details were carefully reintroduced, honoring the building’s heritage while ensuring a fresh, modern aesthetic that celebrates Parisian elegance.
